I'm Back!

I’M BACK! (Finally!)

Those of you who know me—and those of you who have seen recent pictures of me—already know what I’m about to say.

For everyone else… well, here’s the confession:

I gave up Keto. And yep… I gained the weight back.

I’ve been trying to get it back off for quite a while now. And let me tell you, I have TRIED some things!

I tried South Beach again.
I tried counting calories.
I tried focusing on Protein, Fat & Fiber.
I tried OMAD.
I tried just “watching what I eat.”

You name it, I tried it!

Well, everything except Keto.

And the results?

After all of that, I managed to lose about 10 pounds.

I even rode approximately 800 MILES on three different Bikations… and I was STILL only down about 10 pounds.

So, I finally decided:

Fine. I’ll go back to Keto.

I’m just getting started again, and I have to admit… it isn’t quite as easy this time around.

For starters, one of the gals I used to follow online stopped making videos. And, oddly enough, she stopped posting around the same time I stopped Keto. I really miss her videos!

Then there’s my food-tracking app. The app I used before changed, so I deleted it and downloaded a different one. Of course, they happened to be having a 75% off Premium sale, so I went ahead and paid for a year.

So now I have exactly one year to fall in love with this app.

And then there’s the biggest difference this time around…

My Keto Chef isn’t doing Keto with me.

He’s trying to lose some weight too, but he doesn’t want to be restricted about what he can and cannot eat.

And honestly, I get it.

BUT…

If he’s going to eat carbs, he probably shouldn’t be eating all those delicious, high-fat Keto meals right along with me.

So this time, I’m going to be making some adjustments. I’ll be eating more chicken and lower-fat meats, while still making sure I get the fat I need.

Of course, there will still be cheese.

Lots of cheese.

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again—I could probably live on cheese.

And I’m sure some of those fattier meats will still mysteriously find their way into my lunches.

So here we go…

Round Two.

Back to Keto.
Back to tracking.
Back to figuring out what works.
And hopefully, back to feeling better in my clothes!

I know it’s going to take some work, and I know this time may be a little different.

But I’m ready.

Wish me luck… because apparently I needed to learn the hard way!
